How would you know ? For them to even have your address and/or contact details they must have been passed the account to deal with.

Not necessarily, as you know only too well Tootsie DCA's use a varirty of methods to obtain information. With your obvious informed, indepth experience would you care to enlighten us further, as to methods employed

They might use many different methods to obtain information about debtors but not from the lenders !

The only way they would know Dr Shoe has a debt from 'x' lender and the amount etc is if the lender had sent the account to them for collection.
