I make lunches for me OH and DS.
We have tuna and sweetcorn with a little mayonaise in the wraps. Just make up the tuna as if making sanwiches I put in diced onion and tomatoes aswell.
Quite tasty for Lunch!0 -
We use them for chillis mostly, but they are great for quick snack meals.
eg we fill them with falafel and salad.
hummous, olives and grated carrot
sometimes we grill a veggie/bean burger and put that inside with some brown sauceMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
grated cheese, grated carrot and red onion (or spring onion) all mixed together with low fat mayo. kinda like savoury cheese. Yum.

For lunches you can fill with anything as you would in a sandwich really. Coronation chicken is particularly good, but they also work well with rice slad or couscous - but the trick is to roll very tightly.
For dinners there are umpteen things to do with them
LAst night round a mates she did grated cheese & tomato salsa, baked enchiladas - simply roll the cheese & filling, then bake - she served with salad
I do a chicken /.turkey enchilada, a hot tomato & chilli sauce stirfried with chiken, mushrooms peppers, onions, courgettes - rolled placed into the dish, pour a jar of passata over the top & cover in grated cheese ( oil the dish first- I always forget this!)
You can and it is utterly lovely, deep fry wraps and thier contents as chimichanga. Its my favourite of all, but I have v rarely and not at home, we try not to fry but it is LOVELY
A quickie thing is to heat a fry pan as hot as poss and then make a cheese "sandwich" out of them and fry on both sides- in mexico this is popular street food called quesadilla served with HM salsa or guacamole is YUMMY! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
