    Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T
  • Hi Ms_London - great to hear from you again :) do they have freecycle over there for setting up your flat and clothes :D
Its getting colder here and of course Christmas is upon us
I have got my debt down to £775 and am hoping to clear it by Christmas but with only 1 pay day to go it is looking like it may be next year now :o but Im not too bothered as it is on interest free for a few more months so will definately get it cleared by then.
I have started saving up for a VW campervan ( see my sig ) and Im hoping to have enough money together for next summer so my DD and I can take off anytime we want  I have started selling on ebay again but need to sell a lot more to reach my targets and also started doing matched betting - not going too bad but Im still a newbie at it and a bit unsure ;)
How long are you staying over there for ? sounds like you have had / are having the time of your life - well done you.
All the best and good luck - OOPS

  • Hi ms_london!:hello:

Had a quick look at your blog...didn't read too much lest I sell the house without telling BF and come out & join you :rotfl:

It's so good to read it though.....to see your trip "in fruition" now. I remember all those forlorn Saturday afternoon posts saying "I'm at work.....sigh..." etc. Worth every minute huh? :D

    Keep having fun lady.

Take care & good luck with the job.

:santa2: :rudolf: :xmassmile :xmastree: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year all the way from Sydney!! I meant to send this BEFORE Christmas but got a bit side tracked, but I hope you are all doing well & had an enjoyable time, hopefully without the added stresses of money!!

Christmas Day was different, but spent it with my flatmate & my old flatmate from home, who arrived last week, we had bacon sandwiches & bucks fizz for breakfast and then opened our Christmas presents. I am pleased Santa managed to find us ;0) We then headed to Bondi Beach, had some lunch, and then spent the arvo on the beach - such an experience, saw santa on a jet ski, and every tom, !!!!!! & harry (including us) were wearing a santa hat, a few girls in santa bikinis, and some full on santa suits, beards, etc etc. Last night we had a few drinks back at home and a christmas buffet and a film - very enjoyable, albeit a bit weird, especially when talking to the family!!

I have been back in Sydney for 7/8 weeks now (lost track) and living in the city with a girl I met travelling. I was temping for a bit and then started a new job a couple of weeks ago at a law firm - the job is something completely different to what I was doing at home, but enjoying it, its good money, only 200 steps from my flat, and best of all, they see me as being permanent, which means (all going well) they'll sponsor me when my visa runs out. So all in all things are going really really well and I'm very happy!!

I just wanted to pop in here and send my love, I really hope all my friends from here are taking care of themselves and things are going well for you all -you all deserve it and I truly hope that 2007 brings you lots of luck & happiness!

I have nearly been in Oz for 5 months which I am amazed at, it has flown by - so I hope a lot of good things have been happening for you too!! Please reply to this and let me know, and when I've got some time I'll have a proper look at the posts!!

Enjoy the rest of your Christmas breaks, sending you lots of love.

    xxxxxxxxxx
