No leaflets anywhere. The staff didn't know anything about it, they just pointed to the advent calendars on display and said thats all they had.
  • I asked in my store and the manager knew about it as she got something similar posted to her houses last year. She said they are not available in store and are sent out to certain postcodes and also to C1 and C2 marketing categories, not sure what you have to be to fit into a C1 or C2 category!

This is exactly how they are presented /worded on the promotion calendar no codes need for discounts ,just the freebie ones you will probably need to hand over the the number.
At least now you can decide what offers to take advantage of.

Oh, maybe the calenders are different then??

Mine is the same as what Sparkleworld has posted....... :o

EDITED TO SAY - This is actually via a leaflet that came through the door, I think your referring to the online calendar with 20% off?

The online calendar is 20% off. Some people however have had a prmotional calendar through the post. I think that is the difference

Can I ask Jonesy1977..... are these part of your normal delivery (are they given to you to put through with post) or do you deliver them on behalf of another company but add it to your round, hope that makes sense?
Mine came in the evening with a few ASDA, Tesco, local company leaflets by a non postie!!
    Just curious how it works!?!
    TIA

Sorry I didnt realise you had asked me a question..
Up until recently we were paid an extra certain amount for each leaflet up to the maximum of 3 different advertisments a week. Normally it would be between £15 & £25 extra a week but to me it was to much hassle as it took up so much time prepping them & the my bags were just too heavy making everyday such a chore so I sold them to another posty as did other people.( Thats probably why you see someone out of hours delivering - but it still should have been a posty ) But when the last strikes happenend part of the agreement was we deliver 1 6th of the leaflets each working day of the week without being paid seperately for them but with a pay rise of £20. Also the leaflets were more likely to be read in the mornings with the mail than when you got yours. Instead of 3 leaflets we get upto 7 now!! so quids in for royal mail getting upto 7 leaflets delivered for the same price as 3!
