I know my local pet shop stocks Canin products so I always have my vouchers for them.
Even if they are out of stock of the 400ml ones they seem to have a weekly order - and they just check to see if the one I want is coming in. I may have to wait a few days, but never had a problem from them about handing over a voucher rather than money.
Just had another voucher from Canin which I hadn't even sent for - which was very nice surprise.
My cats love it, and the bag soon disappears.
Wish I could afford to buy it all the time :cool:0 -

I had that a while back, the pet shop stocked it, but wouldn't take the voucher although it was made out to them.
In fact she was rather nasty, said they had no right to issue them without her say so, that she would have to wait to get the money back, never enter her door again.
I contacted Royal Canin and the sent me another voucher for pets at home, so much for trying to use the small local shops.
If she had just said no we don't take vouchers, but I received a lecture.
Took the last ones to a nearby town, I knew I would be visiting and they couldn't have been more helpful.0 -
Fab find!
Getting a new kitty that is an unusual breed so this will be great to see if she will eat the breed specific food before buying a sack!:heartpuls Gains & £'s saved..Far too many to mention! Needless to say I LOVE MSE! :heartpuls

Oh - just a reminder that if anyone does not want this freebie then PLEASE consider getting it for rescue centres etc. Their numbers will rise again in the New Year when unwanted pets given as Xmas presents will be taking up residence. THANK YOU! :A:heartpuls Gains & £'s saved..Far too many to mention! Needless to say I LOVE MSE! :heartpuls

My local pet shop accepted the voucher, but informed us that they didn't like these vouchers as Royal Canin are extremely slow to pay out, and when they do it is below the RRP of the item. I felt rather guilty, and so have not cashed in the second voucher as I had had it made out to the same shop.
Poor show on Royal Canin's part I feel. If they treated their stockists better I'm sure we wouldn't be having these troubles.0 -

After reading the thread I opted to have my voucher made out to Pets at Home. My nearest store is 15 miles away but I will be going to that town to shop for presents in the next week.
I agree - shame on Royal Canin being very slow to reimburse pet stores - it is not like their products are cheap as chips!
