I bought an oven liner to save all the spills but I am having trouble with it. How do I get it to stay put in my fan oven? It flaps about all over the place! I put a baking sheet on it to hold it down but this seems to defeat the whole purpose of having a liner in the first place. Suggestions please!!

I bought one in lakelands that i use in my fan oven.My OH cut it to size quite a tight fit and I have it at the very bottom it does not move.I dont know what to suggest to help,I don't think you can stick it down with anything.Perhaps it will be better once it has been in for a while.0

I have tried several makes and found them all horrid. You are supposed to be able to clean them but they just stayed really manky even after going through the dishwasher.
I have 2 ovens and had the same problem in my fan oven of it just blowing around. I am back to putting foil in the bottom of the oven.0 -
Hi All
Those of you with fan ovens...just check that your fan oven doesn't have a heating element in the bottom.
I have an all singing all dancing multi function oven, which has a fan, it can do top only, bottom only, top and bottom, blah blah blah. I discovered that putting one of these sheets (or foil) on the bottom makes the element blow up.
Have a new element now, and I notice that Lakeland's liners now come with a warning saying that they are not to be used on bottom heating ovens.
On topic, I found that if I rolled it up the opposite way to the way it rolled up then it lost its inclination to roll up, and it's now fine. Every time I dishwasher it, it slips around for a bit for a few days then settles down.0 -
i have used the thin brown ones from home bargains before and yes they flap but then i bought the lakeland black one it's much thicker and stays still
