The Early Learning Centre had 20% off today only (not sure if it's online, someone else mentioned it!) But it includes sale things. I bought my son, who will be just over two, a pirate playset as he loves to play with little people and things lol

I reccommend the ELC Happyland Play sets, in fact most things from ELC I like :D

  • I have a 2 year old DD who loves happyland, debenhams have the happyland knights castle half price at £22. It is better than the one in ELC as it has more accessories for your money.
  • we have a 2.5 year old girl. but we have got her an electric drill (toy of course ;) ) and tool set. fireman sam station and bits to go with it, car playmat and cars ( i am sewing a playmat and cars are 5 for £4 pack from toys r us). we bought the tool set and fireman sam engine from argos 2 for £15.

Other unisex things include george pigs castle (only available from toys r us, but you get more stuff than the peppa palace), duplo house, vet set and animal

Other ideas: umbrella, pjs, books, activity books, play dough, dvds, colouring books and pens, bob the builder, dress up stuff - hats/masks ( i am making some felt animal masks for my little one), puzzles, games like pop up pirate, connect 4,

my little one is 2.5 well 2 yr 7 months, but he is mad on fireman sam and peppa pig.

some on what he is getting is the fireman sam lodge with a helicopter, the fire station, venus , hopefully nurse flood van ( he has 2 jupiters already), plus lots of fireman sam figure's. also peppa pig, he is getting the space ship, grandad recovery truck, peppa pig car and lots of figures.

He also has some duplo and a zhu zhu hamster. plus book's, puzzles , colouring pens and colouring book's. tbh i have found he has been the easiest to buy for.
  • if you sign up to elc birthday club on the day of purchasing stuff instore you get 20% off then, my son is 2 1/2yrs but has 2 older bothers so he tends to play with older stuff, we have bought him for xmas quality toy animals (as these last for yrs and can be passed down) we have a big board which we are making him a zoo on, lego, (he loves building with his brothers and sister, you may prefer mega blocks or stickle brics) buzz lightyr laptop, another idea is a wooden train set, there great and easy to put together, i got one from a charity shop in the summer for £2.50 it came with loads of thomas trains he loves it hth :)
One day I will live in a cabin in the woods
