I've just discovered the second best thing to be invented ever (well almost):j
I've just treated myself the The Babyliss Root Boost.
The best way to describe it is as a mini crimper, you crimp the roots of your hair and it gives brilliant root lift.
I look as if I've had a pro blow dry and think that they are well worth the £29.99 I paid.
Anyone else tried them ?

Hi Nottslass
Just had a look at these on Amazon they are £26.99 with delivery, and they have great reviews!
Never heard of them but I would give them a try as my hair always falls flat after I`ve spent ages doing it.
Will drop a few hints for Christmas:D

Just had a further look for a set of mini crimpers,,. thought the price was a bit too high for me on the Babyliss ones so have found another make and have ordered some from Amazon for £14.68 includes postage..
Really looking forward to giving them a try when they arrive:)

I have the root boost and i love it.
I have long hair and i love volume and if i do my roots with this it give me so much body plus if i use a dry shampoo such as batiste my hair is almost as voluminous as Cheryl Cole's which is the sort of volume i am looking for.
I don't need to backcomb or use hairspray but i imagine it you do it will be amazing lol.
I totally recommened them, takes 5 mins to do and lasts days, plus they are a good mini crimper too.0 -
