Calculate my hourly rate of pay

Hope someone can help. I want to know my hourly rate of pay and have tried various online calculators but they don't take into account paid holidays etc.
I earn £14,000 per year, work a 35-hour week with an unpaid lunch hour (i.e. 7 paid hours/day) Mon-Fri and get 20 days paid annual holiday plus statutory days.

I am supposing the the unpaid hour is already taken out of the 35hrs a week? (It usually is...)
14000/52/35= £7.692 per hour
(annual wages/52 weeks in a year/hours per week)
What has paid holiday have to do with anything? Those are given by law, you get the same amount of hours in your week off paid... the same amount...
It has nothing to do with the calculation of hourly pay if you are given in contract £14000pa for 35 hrs week.0 -
Your holiday entitlement won't impact on your hourly rate. Does your pay slip not state your hourly rate?0

I know what the OP means... calculating effectively what you're paid for the hours you actually do at work...
OP, the key point is, it's PAID holiday! You're paid for not being there!Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0 -

In which case 20 days holidays is 4 weeks and statutory holidays there is 8 days (I think?).. which is 1.6 weeks = so take that away from the 52 weeks normally used in calculation.
Then the calculation will be
14000/46.4/35 = £8.62 ph0 -

7 hours x 5 days = 35 hours per week
35 hours x52 weeks in a year = 1820 hrs
£14,000 / 1820 = £7.69 per hourEverything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
