Credit score was 884 2 months ago but is now 494 - can't get a mortgage due to this

    Best thing is to ring Experian! They gave me great help last year and I took their advice and turned my mediocre 664 into 994:j

    could you not elaborate a bit more? this would prob help a good few people:beer:

    Op says he went to a Building Society. I use nthem a lot and I can tell you they are ultra careful and may well spot the william hill dealings when viewing your Bank account. There are usualy many hurdles. BS underwiters like to lend to people who are like themselves - cautious, anoraks that lead a quiet peaceful life free from vices.
