Bargain Pumpkins

Could not find a thread on this but if so please move, sorry.

Somerfield are selling their Medium Sized Pumpkins for £1.00, they are plenty big enough to turn into a lantern and I thought £1.00 was a really good price.

I also got the pumpkin cutting set for 49p from Home bargains, Somerfields was £1.99, so for £1.49 we should have a lovely lantern (and pumpkin for soup)

Tesco has what they call 'Large' pumpkins for 98p, but I wouldn't call them large. They had Extra Large for £1.98...they were a good size to carve a nice Halloween Jack O'Lantern.

I think last year or the year before I bought my pumpkins from ASDA, I seem to remember they were good quality and cheaper but I haven't seen their prices yet this year.

just had a massive pallet load delivered at Wilkinson's. Not sure of price but they are all quite large. I think they are about £1.78- £1.98 will check and let u know

Asda's pumpkins were £1.48 yesterday...today they are 40p and they had loads left so I've bought one to make soup.
