Sparkly new shoes!

I have bought myself some rather spank new shoes. They are proper Dorothy Wizard of Oz style high highs - all red and sparkly!

Problem is... I am loosing red glitter left, right n centre and was hoping someone might have some idea about how I could prevent this... cos I am finding bits of glitter in my underwear draw and I don't want my shoes getting bare and naked! Any ideas folks?

There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home!

Cheers

I would have suggested a clear nail varnish but spray varnish is probably a better solution.

I think its nigh on impossible to get glitter to stay in one place though.

Well then I can only suggest you follow the yellow brick road to Oz,get the wizard to give the scarecrow his brain, then you could ask a brainy scarecrow what he recommends for your shoes:D

Oh I feeeeeel for you, back in my pre OS days *coff* I spent £70 on my Cinderella shoes

    DaShoes.jpeg

I love these shoes soooooooooooooo much but the glitter has come off the toes. Friends did suggest rolling them in new glitter but I'm scared of wrecking them so I only wear them for very, very special occasions - like my birthday party next week :T

Hope you find a good solution because I will so nick it! :D

I was once told in a shoe shop that spraying with hair spray helps the glitter to stay in place. It's also supposed to work for glittery tops as well. I haven't tried it though so can't vouch for it working.
