Clinique would win every time for me, I really dont like No7 except for one product, I'm not really a huge Clinique fan either and would suggest that you check out MAC as an alternative, much better products, same price range and still part of the EL family:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Depends on the product, and you!
I use Clinique for my basics - moisturiser and foundation (and mascara and powder and eyeshadows...:)). For me, they are better than any other brand (thoroughly tested! including No. 7) but other people suit other things.
I do like and use the no 7 P&P serum - haven't found a better serum, despite trying some very expensive ones.0 -

Totally agree with this - it depends a lot on your skin type etc and what exactly you're looking for.
Personally I have tried the Clinique 3 step skincare and a couple of their foundations and they haven't suited me at all, and I've never been overly impressed with things like eyeshadow from them either. No.7 on the other hand I think is great - I use their mousse foundation everyday and their microdermabrasion exfoliator regularly too, as well as quite a few of their eye shadows and nail polishes. For the money I think No.7 products are good quality, especially when Boots offer 3 for 2 deals etc, wheras Clinique for me doesn't really have anything that makes it stand out for the prices they charge.
Totally personal opinion though, I'm sure there are others who will think the exact opposite!0 -
for me it has to be clinique, i dont think no.7 is that great and id rather buy something cheaper0

I think No7 is better, but don't rate either. Clinique mascara is really bad, and their lipstick has no staying power. No7 nail varnish is great and the other bits I've tried are ok.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
