whats on top of your xmas tree?

When I lived in a hostel with mum we had a tiny tree with bits of cloth tied round some branches and I made a fairy out of toilet roll ^-^

I bought a cabbage patch fairy 20 years ago and every year she tops the tree - she is looking a little worse for wear now but I refuse to buy another fairy or star!

We have a star on top and an angel directly below. Cant have piccies as I havent even thought of getting the decorations out yet. They wont go up until a few days before Christmas.

When i was at home we had a fairy (looked like a ballerina) but i dont know where it is, not on top of my mums tree thats for sure she coordinates everything lol!!

I've just sorted through our decs to see what I need to get for this year and found a huge silver star which I don't remember at the bottom of the box :think:

We haven't put anything on top of the tree for the last 3 years as we have one of those fibre optic trees and anything heavier than tinsel makes it fall over :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm still looking though

We have an angel bought from poundland years ago, she's almost hollow as she was designed to have a small light inside her base. We have a fibre optic tree so we removed the base and she is light enough to sit on the top. The lights shine through her dress and it looks lovely!
