Yes, I agree that the PWC also shouldn't have more children if they can't afford to. I've been in that situation and therefore didn't go on to have any more kids although I would have liked to and I expect there are a lot more people that have been unable to extend their family when they wanted to.
I also agree that life can be unfair. I do feel sorry for NRPs who are in that situation because of circumstances caused by their ex partner. That must be an awful situation to be in. However, I still think that the children that are already here should be considered before going on to have more, particularly if it means that the NRP will no longer financially provide for them. Just because a child doesn't live with you, it doesn't mean that he/she isn't your responsibility any longer.
13kent and Mikeef - None of my comments are meant to be personal and it's good that you still paid for things even with a NIl assessment. But not all NRPs would do that.0 -
'Divorce' your wife and get her to put in a claim, you will pay 20% but will be split between 2, so the 1st PWC will get 10% :eek:0
