    You can't afford to keep it unless he buys 1/2 off you fairly soon.

    That might help him see sense.

    If his flat has reduced in value to around £200k from £235k why do you think yours is still worth £250k?

  • Good point. Well imho ,my brothers' flat was a little overpriced.
    My place (2 bedroom garden maissonnette) has been valued by 3 different estate agents. 1 says it could be worth more,but the stamp duty puts a stop to that.
