these fridges can be a factor in encouraging obesity. this is because the food doesn't last any longer than in a normal size fridge, but due to the larger quantities that can be stored, more is consumed. Very handy if you have a "big family" though i suppose !

Im not sure a fridge is a factor in encouraging obesity. Its personal choice how much you put in, and consume :P

Yes someone could fill it with dozens of pies, cakes,and fattening foods but to blame a fridge for being a factor, im not sure makes much sense :P Our weekly shopping list wouldn't change with the purchase of a new fridge, but things would just get more spread out As it is now, our fridge is so jam packed, things touch the sides and it causes water build up

We have a tiny 2 person fridge for a 5 person family, and after a sunday lunch there is zero room for leftovers so we think its finally time to upgrade Plus with all the winter weather, it makes sense to get in some frozen foods and start freezing bread and such

sounds like you have more self control than many, unfortunately the american-style body is rapidly becoming the norm over here

Well i sure lacked it while living in america... gained 80 lbs in the 5 years I lived there lol :P

But it wasnt due to my fridge.. it was due to eating out all the time, portion sizes and too much time spent gaming rather than exercising lol!
