  • Durham is a really good uni and a really great city as well, and well newcastle is only up the road :)

Where abouts are you from? As with Durham being quite a small city people from London etc might take a bit longer to adjust.

  • I choose Lancaster as my second choice and Warwick as my 1st.
Lancaster was very impressive on the subject open day for the Business school. They are also trying to attract the best people by offering a scholarship of £1000 (i think) to anyone who got 3 A's in their A levels, even though the requirements were only ABB.

I choose Warwick in the end because they had slightly tougher entry requriements (AAB) and was closer to my home. But that said Lancaster would have been a great place to study. Still no regrets in week 4 of term!

  • I'm applying for Accountancy & Finance plus one go at Economics at:
Brighton Bournemouth Portsmouth Plymouth The UWE

& Read a few posts around that Accountancy & Finance is for the rejects of Maths...
I do A-Level Maths and yeah some of it's hard but I work hard and I achieve my best, and seeming as I want a career as an Acountant why bother messing about with a degree I'm not gonna use in the future. :)

    5)Aber
So we have none in common lol.

Hi and good luck to all applying for uni. You'll have a great time! I'm a third year student at Sheffield Uni and have loved every minute. There is definately something for everyone as it is quite a big place, but still feels quite small and friendly. My advice is to look around them. I quite fancied Durham before i realised my department was at the top of a HUGE hill!

Hello all and good luck with the applications.

I have applied to do Diagnostic Radiography at Salford in the 2007 intake, no other choices as I cannot move away from home with a wee fella in tow.

Finger's crossed for me and for y'all.

Is that the access to health? I'm doing that at the moment and my neighbour is doing the same at another college.

No access to medicine, what does access to health cover? Access to medicine is purely for those who wish to become doctors.
