    Starrystarry,
I didn't know that LE had been taken over by Avon - this smacks of The Body Shop being taken over by L'oreal!! Another ethical company bites the dust - I hope not.

  • Hi Clare, yes unfortunately Liz sold out to the dark side earlier this year. I can't imagine a worse pairing than LE & Avon, absolutely nothing in common. I think most of us who bought Liz's products over the years did it not just because we loved the products but because we shared her ethics etc. Avon certainly don't. I also liked the idea that my money was supporting a UK business. They won't get anymore of my money.

    Thanks for the reply Starrystarry,
    I completely agree with you!
What I liked about LE was her policy on animal testing and that her products were BUAV approved - I wonder whether the products will keep the approval?
Also as a qualified Aromatherapist I liked the fact that the products contained essential oils and no sls etc but is appears that the products are now starting to change...
    One less customer for LE/Avon!

I'm with you 100% there starrystarry. I stopped buying it when the sell out happened and I've just been using up my backlog of products. I've been using neal's yard and essential care instead (both british owned and natural products) and they are just as good if not better.
