Pots of silver?

Hello
I have seen and made pots of gold then realised my dinner service etc is white and silver! So i am looking to make pots of silver now and will be using the post of gold as pressies for my childrens teachers. Does anyone have any ideas of sweeties or other things i could put in the pots of silver? There will be 11 of us!
I will still get a wintery scratchcard, white coins.
Thank you for any help.

You can usually get cheap toffees or mints wrapped in silver. What about sugared almonds? You can often get them in silver for weddings etc0

Hi. There are sweets called Dragees. John Lewis have little ones for the tops of cakes, although I think I've seen bigger ones somewhere!
Whilst trying to remember what these were called I did a google search of Silver chocolate, but in images and there are lots of ideas here.
An alternative would be to wrap up different sweets in silver foil. I don't know if you just want silver, but a shiny blue would compliment the silver quite well.
Hope that helps?0 -
I did pots in silver last year. In the 'Ladies' ones I put some gems in too. They were clear plastic and looked like diamonds only bigger iyswim. They were from Home Bargains and could be used as a dressing table decoration, or paperweight afterwards. They weren't very big and there were about three large ones and lots of tiny ones in a pack. They were about £1.30 each. They just made it look prettier, not just sweets and a scratchcard. The tiny ones I sprinkled on the dining table and it was lovely when the candle was lit and they sparkled. I think they still have them, I saw them not long ago.
I also put silver earrings in mine, it depends how far you want to go. You could get some shiny new 10p pieces or shillings/sixpences for the men, or a £2 coin.
You could get some silver table confetti shaped as stars etc, and put that in - it all adds to the look.I :heartpuls M.S.E.
