Hi Folks,
I'm having a bit of trouble with my asthma today. It's a seasonal thing, and it has come with a vengance this year. Is anyone else having asthma trouble at the moment or is it just me?

Ooops - just noticed the time - must be off for a bit. Save me a caramel wafer;):dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
Was the weetabix cake good? I've never heard of it. Is it an OS recipe?
:T My doctor has got a brilliant new system for booking appointments online. It is so easy. I just logged in and looked what was available, and managed to book myself an appointment for later today. I just hope I don't catch something off a sick person while I'm there
I once went for a routine smear test and caught chickenpox off a child in the waiting room:eek:Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -
Good afternoon - hope everyone is well?
I'm stuck at home ill again - been throwing up all morning _pale_ including in the street outside my sons school, which was totally humiliating. I'm sure the other parents must have thought I was an alcoholic or something. I need a brightly coloured t-shirt that says 'Sorry for being disgusting, I can't help it, I'm pregnant - please don't come anywhere near me if you smell of smoke/sweat/food as I may vomit onto your shoes'.
Could be quite a fashion statement - think it will catch on?
Glass of water and a ginger biscuit for me thanks xx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
:rotfl: :rotfl: our doc's are rubbish-I had to wait over a month to get "the pill" after I had ran out because they couldn't give me an appt and when I explained I had none they said it was because I hadn't gone to my routine appt in march (it was now august) I had been twice in march and again in may!:wall:
and I am often aneamic and went to docs to ask for iron they took blood etc, went back to get results "ooh there's nothin wrong with you" they said then 2days later I get a letter "you must return to the surgery immediately to collect your 3months supply of iron! idiots! rant over!:rolleyes:Christmasshopper wrote:Was the weetabix cake good? Nah, nothing really works lol! The thought of marmite doesn't make me feel sick though, don't worry - I love the stuff.
I'm about 11 weeks pregnant now though, so fingers crossed it should ease off soon (if anyone tells me stories of how they were sick all the way through I'll put my fingers in my ears and say 'LALALALALALALA....NOT LISTENING' at the top of my voice!!) hahaha!!

Afternoon peeps. Brilliant! Not the vomiting obviously but the T-Shirt sounds fab, send it in to Rosie Nieper: http://www.rosienieper.com/
You might make a quid or two."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

Cattie - I had a very similar thing with my doctors - I have asthma, and the number of times I have to go in and say 'PLEASE update your records to show I HAVE attended my annual review, because the pharmacy wont give me any more inhalers until you update my repeat prescription!
Christmasshopper - your money for nothing challenge total is starting to creep up - are things going well now? (you said it was going badly last time I saw you on an afternoon tea thread). It's a fantastic idea, when I get a bit of energy and enthusiasm back I think I will have a go to raise some 'baby money' lol.
Annie - glad you enjoyed the concert - when's the next one?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
