Thinking about BR

  • Having looked through your SoA, you are in no position to realistically service an IVA - BR is a perfectly legitimate option. It is a common enough occurrence in this day and age, and although you may well feel shame, regret and a thousand other emotions, having been there, I can honestly say life is too short to fight a losing battle such as this.

Take a deep breath, take the plunge and don't look back. You won't ever forget but at least the overwhelming burden will be taken from your shoulders and you can regain control of your life - open post or answer the phone without fear or trepidation, fear the bailiff's knock on the door, etc. It is by no means the easy way out, but I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Only my employer knows (because I told them) and we have been able to move on with relatively little disruption to life.

Thanks for all your advice, I think BR is my only option now!

I am going to relocate to the north of england... Will I have trouble getting gas, electricity, rental property etc?
