Hi I currently get working tax credit as I work 16 hrs per week. I am self employed but work is at all good and I am renting a room. I no longer wish to continue with the business.
I am considering doing bed and breakfast ie letting out a room or two (don't need planning permission - checked this out).
My query is, would I be entitled to claim for working tax credit??:j

If you were running it as a self employed business and working over 16 hrs a week then yes. If not then maybe look at running alongside your current business until it picks up?0
