Oak staircase needed......

.......anyone know of any good joinery places in the Highlands who could manufacture at a reasonable price?

    Try a timber reclamation yard, plenty in the Glasgow area.

    Try some of the joinery firms,
    the likes of MacDonald and McIntyre on thornbush road in Inverness will manufacture for you in their work shop.
    Also some of the merchants will make made to measure staircases.
    Oak will be a more expensive option if you are looking to save money go for yellow pine/ white wood and stain it down or just get the handrail and spindles in oak.
