Will get butter and eggs today. Looking at cupboards again I have found cornflour and vanilla essence and cinammon too, so thaqt makes the shortbread a good option.
I have cadburies drinking chocolate, didn't think of using that as a flavouring - will give the quick cookies a go for definite.
