Cahoot/Santander flexi loan over payments

Does anyone know if it's still possible to make overpayments on the cahoot flexi loan since it was taken over by Santander?

I know that the website is disabled now and that everything pretty much has to be done my phone but I thought I'd check with people who might know before I call them up as I've read that the customer service is shocking.

Strangely enough I just a few moments ago rang them about this and have been told that the only overpayment they accept now is if it clears the balance completely.

Of course if you're told any different please let me know,lol!

It's been many years,fortunately,since I've had a flexi loan but isn't the idea of them that you can make "flexi" repayments ?

Or have I missed something ?

Just called them, to my surprise the customer service was excellent.

Apparently I can make additional payments and increase or decrease my direct debit when ever I like.

I've been making overpayments, and I'm just about finished with Santander (in more ways than one!). Just ask them on 0845 06020 2713 (option4) to set up a one-off DD from the same account that your payments normally come from, and after 3 or 4 days it should be done!
