Hi again I posted yesterday regarding help with hubbys pension, I would really appreciate any advice please. I feel I am in over my head already and I'm only on the basics! Hubby is even worse than me so no help there! I really hope nobody took anything I said as offensive. If so im sorry.

Have you started by reading through this site's section on pensions: under the 'savings & investments' heading on the left. After that you'll need to rely on the advice of an independant financial advisor - your own bank might also be a good source of info.0

I have read through various different threads on here but tend to get blinded easily by jargon. SIPPS, SERPS, TRANSFER VALUES,etc all double dutch to me at moment but I know I'll get there eventually in my own way, I'm quite tenacious when I dnt understand something. I dnt want anything all singing all dancing. I think getting the advice from a financial advisor is a great idea, but I want to find out first what I want to ask, does that make sense? thanx v. much Tallymanjohn.0
