Will this guy ever shut up? No, because I have something to ask.
Actually that's what the issue is: I have an annoyingly soft, low and quiet voice as somehow I've learned to speak from my throat. I want to improve my speaking voice, and I want it NOW!
I'm positive I would benefit from coaching/training, as well as advice plucked off the Internet, but I haven't found anyone who doesn't want a fortune for it. So as part of my MoneySaving, I am after reasonably priced - or even free - solutions.

Have you thought about SINGING FOR FUN you may find there is a group near you that aren't choir type singers but people who get together just to have a sing.
Our local one is a workshop and it does have a leader but the purpose is Singing for Pleasure rather than for performance. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Singing would definitely help, but I'm not sure the world is ready for an apocalypse. I mean my singing.0

Ask your gp for a referral to a Speech Therapist. They can help you to increase the volume of your voice and make it a bit more powerful. I know this because I was seeing one regularly last year because I kept losing my voice and when it returned it wasn't very loud. I was very impressed with my therapist.0
