How much have you spent today Thursday 19/10?

Good morning DFWs :)

One last push now - nearly the weekend!!!

I am feeling lovely this morning  Woke up thinking it was Friday and sadly it isn't it. Then I spilled my cereal and milk all over me and had to get changed again. Fell as I was getting in the train and dropped my bag and its contents on the floor but good looking young man helped me retrieve everything (thankfully no tampons or other embarrassing contents! :rotfl: )

Still, I am smilling because I made it to work in one piece! :D

Today I will be spending around £10 on lunch with a friend. I am looking forward to stabbing myself with the knife accidentally

Hope the rest of us are not accident prone this morning! Have a great one and keep it low ;)

Morning Moozie and co! One of those days, eh?

I just dropped my work finance team a quick e-mail to double check my expenses would clear for tomorrow and guess what, they won't. Excellent. So I have a grand total of £3.46 until next Friday. Lucky, today is an intentional NSD, have friends over tonight (free), I have tomorrow off, Saturday is a 'baking day' and our only other plan for weekend was a trip to the Farmers Market. Guess lovely Mr OH will have to help a little with that! Boo to finance. Boo indeed.

    Yes. Sorry. NSD here!

    Morning all,

I am having lunch with friends today although I have just come out of a meeting where we had lovely pastries, unfortunately I over indulged and now feel sick as a parrot. So think I will just have a drink at lunch.
I have a quiet weekend planned, night in on Friday and a family meal on Saturday (free!). Pay day next week, whoo hoo!

    Have a good day everyone!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
  • I'm meeting my hubby at lunch to go shopping for a couple of presents. So, car park will be about 50p, will spend about £35 on presents and cards (1 15th birthday, 1 40th birthday and a 50th wedding anniversary). I'm also on the look out for an outfit for a party on Saturday, but I'm unlikely to buy anything. Will try and be strong and not buy lunch, DH took his with him and there's plenty of food at home for when I get back.

Oh that sounds just like something I would do!!! In fact, this morning I was late for work because I got half a contact lens stuck in my eye and I've demolished my bedroom in panic while whirling round and grasping my eye. At one point, I was worried that I'd have to go to casualty and have my eye removed.

So, I'm in my glasses today, and looking for a no-spender apart from 3 Amazon parcels to send,

Keep it low everyone, and watch those pesky lenses!
    Overpay!
  • I am spending nothing today, I am staying in de-cluttering my spare room and packing things in boxes that I no longer need ready for a boot sale next year, I have made money on e-bay as I got rid of some bags and clothes I did not want, we found some old car parts as my DH had an old cortina he was doing up and did not finish so in the end I have put the parts ready to sell. it feels like a good day today.
