Unhelpful staff on phone at Debenhams

Has anyone else found the staff over the phone working for Debenhams incredibly unhelpful?

I just phoned to place an order as the website wouldn't work properly on my iPhone and I couldn't believe how unprofessional the person I spoke to was. I was told that I couldn't get free delivery which I would have been entitled to online and she said I couldn't have the item delivered to a store which I'm surprised about. I was also pretty shocked at how abrupt she was and she just put the phone down on me when the transaction had gone through - I've got no reference number or anything.

Are try normally this bad? It's a shame as the staff in my local store are usually so helpful.
