Am I entitle to a refund for Car Service??

Do you think I am entitled to a refund for a recent (Disastrous) car service?
My car (Ford Focus 2008 – 20k) now requires a new engine due to this Garage fitting faulty spark plugs and causing internal engine damage. I have already submitted a letter to the garage stating the facts together with my intentions to take the car to Ford for a full inspection. I also requested a refund for the faulty spark plugs to which the garage has agreed to reimburse me this.
However I am now considering requesting a full refund for the full service costs carried out due to the inconvenience this matter has caused me. Do you think this is worth a go? Any tips or advice appreciated on how I can word a letter asking for this refund.
thanks

More likely they cross threaded the plugs or allowed some debris into the combustion chamber which would have destroyed a piston.

Yes probably but it is hardly faulty spark plugs which makes me wonder what else the OP is misunderstanding/being misled on by Garage B who are seeing her as a cash cow.

This car is under Ford warranty. Was the service done at a Ford dealer?

Id have thought if the car needs a new engine, then the price of a set of spark plugs are the least of the O/P's problems

I had a spark plug fall apart. The engine made a really horrible noise until I revved it to death, at which point the bits of spark plug made their way out of the exhaust valve. The other possible exit route would have been through the piston!!!

So do you now have a new engine or not? Shouldn't this be your priority?

You seem to start a new thread randomly, when you would be better off continuing your original one (it at least provides the background)
