Stroller help, pls!

I'm looking for a pushchair/ stroller for my 22 month old... one to last for probably at least another year. He's a big boy, about 27 lb, and tall. So one that only goes to 33 lb won't last..... tho they seem to be tested to 50 lb in the states??? anyway, any suggestions?

Looking to spend no more than £150.... our previous one (broken) ws £25 second-hand so don't mind spending more.

  • Hi, I have had several pushchairs/strollers and my favourite has always been Maclaren. I have always found them to be sturdy and practical, with good features and generous seating area. They are higher priced but you get what you pay for and if you look after it they hold their price well if you decide to sell it on. hth:)

  • Hi, I've had a Maclaren Techno XLR, which was from newborn and then I had a Maclaren Ryder (no longer available to buy new) which was more of a stroller type ranged between the Techno XT and the Quest. I would suggest looking on the Maclaren website for info regarding sizing, weight and one-hand fold etc depending on whether you use public transport etc. Also I would suggest before spending such a considerable amount that you try and go to somewhere like mothercare etc and look and try them for size, handle height etc. Nothing worse than spending and then its not quite right. hth:)
