My wife has got her heart set on this ring but it's too expensive,are there any similar and CHEAPER ones out there you know of.It's for a christmas present.

Seriously though, consider printing this out and, no not that either, take it to a local jewellers and ask them if they have a cheaper alternative, though I’d just ask for an alternative as you don’t want to sound like a cheapskate. Try and keep a straight face when they show you the prices.

You could go to somewhere like H. Samuels though personally I wouldn't. Best thing to do is try a few jewellers before deciding.

Thanks for the alternative but it's too small(carats)she already has a half carat and a one carat diamond so she wants something bigger.By the way the other rings were bought as a surprise,she is not a demanding person.Thanks for the marriage offer but i can't afford one wife never mind two lol.
