ive just come back from a wkend in Betws Y Coed in North Wales and there is a shop in town that is having a massive 50% off all outdoors stock from the previous owners.
Field & Trek have taken over another shop and any stock marked 'Ultimate Price' is 50% off its downstairs.
there were loads of jackets and fleeces, some shoes/boots and lots of bits and bobs.
Lots of big brand names.
I picked up a North Face Evolution Triclaimate jacket was £143.99 i got it for £60!!! :j:j:j
All stock is brand new. no returns. lots of sizes both men and womens.
worth a look if you are in the area.

Been there today, picked up a few items, they had about 4 or 5 North Face Triclimate Evolution Jackets left for £72, both mens and womens, lots and lots of Berghaus coats and fleeces (quite a lot of what I would call very high quality, sort of £70 - £100 Berghaus fleeces), a few North Face fleeces, but all in I would say there were probably 60 - 70 mens and 40 - 50 womens jackets left across all size ranges, the ones that were left all had 50% off marked prices. They also had Berghaus gloves for £6 a pair, various hiking and waterproof socks, a box full of bags (not rucksacks) and about 60 pairs of Berghaus trousers.

Think the reason is that they have been taken over by Field and Trek (who are owned by Sports Direct) and they no longer want to stock The North Face or Berghaus brands. Tried very hard to get the phone number before I went, I called around a couple of local Field and Trek stores and they all gave me the incorrect one, so don't think you will able to call before you go.

I recently purchased a Ladies XL jacket which fits me fine and I am a size 18.
