I am a published writer (short stories, articles, web content etc.) and want to break into copy writing. Can anybody advise me on the best way to get an entry level job in copy writing?

Get a degree and maybe a masters in English/Journalism then get a lot of work experience under your belt and you might start getting to the interview stage.0

Start writing articles online on well-known websites, apply for freelance copywriting work, build a portfolio of copywriting styles online. Most article websites will allow you to have a profile - and in there you can put your contact details. I've been contacted directly for work through writing I had already done. People will see your style, your niche if you have one yet - and will contact you directly.
And, this is all stuff you can do while you're looking for "a copywriting job", as most copywriters are actually freelancing and not employed.... but any future employer would like to see evidence of your work, so if you've got stuff out there already you can simply point them at it and say "Me did dat!"0 -

Thanks for your advice on my search for copy writing work. It was much appreciated. Yes, I have actually got quite a few articles published online - mostly at Ezinearticles.com, where I have just gained Expert Author Status. I have also written web content for my websites, and have had short stories published in various book anthologies and in various magazines. I am also currently working on a paranormal novel.
I will soon be putting up my own personal website, listing all my literary achievements and offering my writing services. My online portfolio, hopefully, will attract some clients.
Thanks again for the advice.
Regards
