Am I the only one that feels like this ?
I think we should air our views so the screenings people will get the message - I could understand if it was a kids movie or summat
Chris
I've been to over 30 preview screenings in the last 18 months at 18:30 or 19:00 and with 3 or 4 exceptions there have been less than 15 people watching the movie. On 2 occasions there were 4 of us.
I've been to 3 morning previews and the cinema was almost full.
Good luck with your protest !

Don't understand why there was a problem with the code, some people getting THE HOLIDAY instead of NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM.....it worked for me
Must be the website...hopefully thats all sorted and everyone managed to get their tickets eventually. If you didn't do try again tomorrow/saturday using the same code as people who will not be able to make it on Sunday may have let the good people at seefilmfirst know and thus more seats become available. Yikes, long sentence....but I think you get what I mean.
Ooooh...christopher_hI think this movie appeals to all ages but particularly children so you can pretty much bet that it will be a full screening on Sunday.
We loved it and if you liked Jumanji and Zathura then this is gonna be your cup of tea. Just to mention a few of the actors involved... !!!!!! van dyke, mickey rooney, robin williams; the already proven comedy duo of ben stiller and luke wilson....not to mention our very own steve coogan and ricky gervais! Bit of a class act!
So yeah.....even though it's a sunday morning....drag yourself out of bed for this one cos its good fun. And for those out there with wee kiddies....they will definitely love it!
Do please be aware that those of you with camera phones may have to give them up for the duration of the movie (I said MAY, its not a certainty...but you have been warned).
Disclaimer : All thoughts expressed in this post are mine, all mine and nothing but mine....I think....well....um...I'm not sure now.....did I mention I was abducted by aliens last week? err yeah...maybe its not a good idea to tell you that....um....err...YEAH ITS A GOOD MOVIE.. nuff said.:p:j:j Please blow me a kiss if I have helped you.:j :j

QQThe atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -
Night in a Musem - Manchester & Liverpool full
Rusty James has asked first so if anbody else decides not to use Manchester tickets I need 4. Alternative would be Liverpool as this is just as convenient for me?0 -

Good luck with your protest !
I agree with quoia.
You won't need to protest as the cinemas can see how full the screenings are.
Evenings are great for me because there is a cinema near my office so I can have a bite to eat and then catch the film without extra travel.
The screenings I have been to have varied from a few people to being full but sometimes it depends on which screen you get as some are bigger than others.0 -
Ok.
I've had a few pm's from people to ask me to update my post to include information about the venues that are already full.
Having just visited the seefilmfirst website I can tell you that every single venue for A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM is now full. Obviously this is a popular movie added to the fact that the entire family can go (4 tickets) these tickets must have gone like hotcakes.
Nevertheless, I do urge you to try the same code (will let you know if another code comes up) later on today and even tomorrow because, as I mentioned before, seats do become available at venues that were previously considered full since people reply to seefilmfirst letting them know that they won't be able to make the screening. (I'm sure we all get how important it is to email icantgo@seefilmfirst.com when you are unable to see a movie you already have tickets for and thus allow others the chance to see it. Or far, far better, just offer your tickets to someone on MSE who really wants to see the flick:T ).
However, as mentioned in several posts already, Sunday morning screenings are usually full, particularly as, more often than not, they cater to the young'uns. A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM is a CERTIFICATE PG so you can bet your bottom dollar that the cinemas will be packed and it isn't likely that more seats will become available. We can keep our fingers crossed.;)
Good luck!:j:j Please blow me a kiss if I have helped you.:j :j
