Found this Take along thomas engine belt which allows the child to walk round in a fancy Thomas belt and carry 4 engines around with him at the same time. They also have another bargain The Take along Water Tower with Fergus for £3.00!!!! But the water has dried up in the water tower. That might annoy older children but a toddler doesnt even notice.

hi ive been buying the thomas die cast metal trains from tkmaxx for between 2.99 and 8.00 which are a lot cheaper than other places but what kind of track do i need? my son loves these trains and there such good value rather than plastic ones that dont last.

i think they work with any, not sure on the wooden track though.. i use 'take along' for my 2 year old.. seems pretty hard wearing as he is quite rough with it..
