I like Lush lip balms. Made of natural ingredients. One little tin is still going strong after a year.

My favourite is Blistex Lip Conditioner - really soothes dry skin on chapped lips and works at softening them up too. Has a nice taste and doesn't sting on the lips like Carmex can do.

A pot lasts for AGES too!

I never bother with anything else now :)

I use Bepanthen on my very dry lips. It's a nappy rash cream but leaves my lips so soft. It also really helps heal them after they have become cracked. You can get a free sample from there website to try, but large tubes are very cheap in supermarkets. (It's also great if you have a bad cold as it really helps with the sore skin on your nose)
  • i have the worst lips ever! in the summer they crack and now its winter they are sore again! sneezed the other day and they split. i swear by elizabeth arden 8hr cream!

I use these also, they are lovely. My son went to the Lush store in cambridge a few weeks ago and come back with "Mint Julips" sugar lip scrub and a tin of Maple Taffy Lip Balm for me .They are brilliant I used different ones last year from Lush , a treat from my son and I never suffer from rough, sore chapped lips any more.:)

To me, that doesn't sound like a very good recommendation if you are using the cream and your lips are still so bad.
