Hi, just wondering whether any of you guys know anything, My hubby has just been told he has got a £300 car allowance and has been told to find a car for starting his new job please can you advise how this works?

Its possible this is his monthly amount of car allowance? Its probably added to his gross salary then taxed as his normal income would be. Its up to you to buy a new car and pay the running costs unless the company operate some form of company car scheme?0
