Anyone heard of these or, better still, any experience thereof?
The claim is that you lay one in the bottom of your freezer and it stops icing of the compartment, thereby cutting down on the need for regular defrosting.
Would appreciate any comments.

Thanks but that's a Canadian site. I've already found a UK one offering the same thing but I can't understand the principle involved. Is it just an absorbent material or something more devious - or maybe just a straight con?!0 -

Could you tell me where you have found these in the UK? Sounds like something I could use. I HATE defrosting my freezer!:mad:When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
in my freezer compartment i use two old flannels, laid on the botton. not defrosted it for over a year now. i take them out and give them a wash every so often, but it works for me. I assume they must absorb the moisture, although they never feel damp, they do go sort of hard after a bit.
no idea how the others work, maybe its the same principle though???????????£2 saver club 30th sept 198 £2 coins = £396(£350 banked)0 -

I had one of these which I "think" I bought from Lakeland. It didn't work, but the might have been cause it never fitted properly and you cant cut them.0
