Don't know what to get for two kids (under 2 years old)

How about a nice set of books. The Book People have some good sets, maybe something like the Mr Men, Beatrix Potter. Or talking books, I know my DS had them from being a baby and we've only just thrown out some of his favourties as worn out (he's nearly seven now!). I know as a Mum I always like books, talking books and CD's as gifts for my DS. Even if they are too young at the moment to read, they can still look at the pictures whist being read too. Check out W H Smith's too as some good offers on there (plus think there are money off vouchers in the voucher section for them too!).0

Right, well babies of 5 months old dont NEED anything in particular. You either buy them a toy that can be put away for a later date such as something in the 12-18 months range or you buy clothes for now or the next size range. You could give them money to be put in a savings account or the idea of something for the garden for spring/summer is a good one.
The 18 month child, maybe a ride on toy. I agree with the books thing, I was always looking for somethng new to read to my two. One relative bought a collection of stories in hardback which was great.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
