I have brought 2 pumkins to carve out a ScArEy face for Halloween in a couple of weeks - I have looked on here what to do with the inner bits
does anyone have a receipe - I have done a search but have so far had no luck
is the middle bit used for pumkin pie
and also how do you dry the seeds for the birds

pumpkin muffins - my DDs love this
mix in one bowl
9oz SR flour or use plain and add 1tsp of baking powder
1tsp bicarbonate of soda
half tsp cinnamon
quarter tsp nutmeg
one eighth tsp ground ginger
4-6 oz sugar depending how sweet you like them.
then mix in a 1 pint measuring jug:
3oz melted butter
7 fluid oz pumpkin puree
enough milk to make total up to 15/16 fluid oz.
then just mix the wet ingredients into the dry until amalgamated but still lumpy. Fill muffin tins and bake at 200 degrees C for 20 to 25 minutes.
Very good split and buttered and makes a relatively healthy snack for lunchboxesIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -

plenty of ideas for seeds and tons of pumpkin recipes.
Was looking for something different myself as got a massive pumpkin delivered today with my organic veggies - I keep making soup, but just found some nice and spicy soup recipes, so looks like I will be boring again!0
