Any idea where to buy cheap wine?

Hi all,
My company has asked me to purchase around a hundred or so bottles of red wine to give to our customers over the festive period, last year we paid around £2.50 per bottle for them (from the cash and carry). I managed to buy a case of mixed wines from Virgin Wines for myself this summer on a special offer which included a £40 discount from lastminute.com and it worked out at only £2 per bottle!!
Does anybody know of any good deals online for buying alcohol at present? Or any good cheap wine sites? Many thanks

Look out for a good deal on ferry crossings and have a day-trip to Calais! - Actually, the cheapest deals are for afternoon/evening crossings.
Sorry - don't know where you live so this suggestion may be totally inpractical (I live near Dover, Kent)0 -
Have they given you a budget?
Makro often have some quite good buys
Tesco havent really got anything particularly wonderful sub £3 at the moment (from looking at the site). There is the Chilean Merlot that works out at £2.83 (but branded tesco so your company might not want this).
Aldi can have goodish cheap wine
There are a couple of interesting reds on the John Lewis site (around £3)

Majestic have a red and a white at £2.99

Laithwaites usually have introductory offers - they also have a moving sale on at the moment with mixed cases at £50 (this would be £4 per bottle approx).0 -
we've always used a company called Laithwaites. Their wine is fantastic, no quibble guarantee so even if you don't like the taste they will refubd the bottle/s. just doa search on Laithwaites then give thema call since you're bulk buying. happy slurping.:beer:0
