My error in my post the 4 days should have been 5 days for a working week max for holiday entitlement. (5.6 weeks==28 days)
(typo on the laptop watching tv and not checking a post)

There might be a definition of a day that could complicate for holidays, I don't know dor sure, there is one for a working week for continuity of service a single shift that covers two days can count toward 2 different working weeks.

The OP's post immediately above yours categorically states they had no bank holidays off.

Others raised the matter of bank holidays because of the need to deduct any from the entitlement if they had been taken.

I didn't read every single post in detail; I missed the one where the OP 'categorically' stated they had no bank holidays, so thanks for pointing it out. :) But my statement is still correct - you have to subtract all bank holidays and annual leave; the fact that didn't take any simply means they don't subtract it. :)

I understand why others raised the idea of Bank Holidays - they raised them for the same reason I did. I was just pointing out that the actual BH dates are irrelevant - which is true. :)

Good point about the AL year and carrying it over, though; I did make an assumption that it was all within the one year. :)

' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".
