*They are one of the cheapest i could find,
*They have free delivery as well and
*Their customer services are amazing!!. One of my books had some glue on the spine, they refunded the book price without a quibble, without me even returning the book!! Amazing :)

I'll second this company as well. Particularly the free delivery overseas. :D

Play have really cut their own throat with me, considering the amount I used to spend and it's now going to other retailers such as The Book Depository
  • I almost always use my local library now and the only books I'll buy are the occasional reference book (we still have a few hundred books around the house!).

What did it for me was discovering that the whole of my County Library catalogue was now online - I can just go to the library website, search for the ones i want, order them in via the web (for 60p a go on collection) and collect a few days later from my (small but conveniant) local library.

On the few occasions that a book is not in the catalogue another click enables me to order a copy which takes a few weeks but I still pay no more than 60p. I am able to access thousands of books, see how many peeps are waiting for a book I'm after and renew my own books, all online.

This is the second county I've been able to do this with, so if you haven't checked if you can do this then I urge you to go to your county council website and investigate.

Whenever I'm tempted to buy the latest bestseller, I always ask myself if I can read it for less than 60p....
(In fact, I've just picked three up this morning!)

  • This one used to be good comparison site but now half the books I try on there can't be found I think they must have stopped updating it a while ago with lists of newly published books.
I use https://www.123pricecheck.co.uk for comparisons now.

I've just registered some of my books with this site https://www.bookhopper.co.uk and I wondered if anyone else has used this site before?
