I think you need to have at least one item over the y value, £x off £Y.
E.g. £3 off £30, you need at least one item in your basket over £30.

It's in the T&Cs, something like that. It devalues the vouchers even more, they are useless for many typical baskets.

Edit: Okay, it's actually even worse.
"All items in your basket must be above the value of the voucher code discount. (e.g. a £3 off £30 voucher will need all items in the basket to be over £3)"
