This game is region free so the NTSC version will work fine on your PAL Xbox.

£32.99 at Amazon and Play so seems like a bargain.

Delivery usually takes 4/5 days from Canada.

I am sceptical.
Never heard of a Region-Free Xbox game, and the description on the site doesnt appear to say region-free.
And dont forget as over 17 quid you may be hit with a charge by HMC&E -Depends on their Customs declaration.

I can advise that the XBOX console is technicaly a multi region (game, not dvd movie) machine. Microsoft stated this from the onset, and kept their word.
What they did do however is allow the game publishers the option to test the video mode of the machine (XBE flag) and effect a region lockout in this way, if they so desired. So effectivley they left the choice of a territorial lockout up to the publisher.
There are a small number of games out that will work on any XBOX, but its a very small number. Mechassault is the only one I can remember from the list I saw some time ago, but there were only about 5 titles in total. Mechassault being the most desirable to some as it contains a code exploit that allows soft-modding, for those that for some reason do not want to install a mod chip.

I should add that I wouldnt be surprised if the Mechassault publishers have removed this exploit on currently sold games. Its a very old title, so it would make sense for them to do so. Mechassault 2 is out now, but theres very little chance this one is multiregional.

To those mouthing off:

1. Mech Assault 2 is confirmed as region free.

2. VideoGamesPlus.ca are 'customs friendly'. Ordered loads and never been stung.

There's 23 titles confirmed as region free so far. This means the NTSC version works fine on a 'normal' PAL console and vice versa.

I have an NTSC Xbox that isn't chipped and own a number of the region free games on PAL.
