Record Strictly and X Factor

Has anyone got a facility to record two programmes on this Sunday night for me, Strictly and X Factor and put them onto a dvd?

I'm going away for the weekend and taking my mum so we will be travelling when they're on and she loves them.

I have got a hard drive recorder but last time I tried to record two things at the same time it messed up :eek:

Would be willing to pay the postage cost and dvd cost if anyone could help.

i tend to watch strictly on catch up tv if you have that facillity, easier than relying on the recorder.

I don't know why you can't record them yourself as so far they have not been on at the same time.

no i've only got basic freeview.

X factor is repeated at 10am on Sunday (ITV1) ... can you not record Strictly on Saturday evening and then X Factor on Sunday morning?
