To clarify, is that the actual PM'ing or just the request for someone to PM a code??
I would have thought PM'ing would be OK, but understand that a member can't ask for a code to be PM'd on this particular thread.

PM requests / offers of codes
Please note that requesting someone to PM you a code, or indeed offering to PM others a code is something that we are unable to allow. As long as your code fits the criteria for posting, as can be seen in > OUR RULES < there should be no reason that you cannot post it on the Discount codes board.
Anyone asking/offering a code over PM will have unfortunately have their post removed and persistent such requests/offers may lead to further action.

can i ask what the purpose of the discount code and voucher board is? I've looked at 'the rules' and it states the following "If people continue to post online discount vouchers here, they will be removed and though i hate to do it, any persistent posters will have their access blocked from the site. " thus indicating that they can't post or pm any discount vouchers. This contradicts post 372 which says to post it on the board itself
Sorry in advance if i am not quite understanding this
thanks0 -
1) people asked for codes to be PM'd to them , post 372 shows the relevant forum rule on that , which is that it is not allowed and that if you have any codes then they should be posted openly on the forum

2)Post 375 says they have codes and what to do , I've said to post them in this thread (which is not Pm'ing)Ex forum ambassador

Thanks Browntoa, the reason I asked was because any codes posted could actually go to a non-MSE member, any lurker.
I would prefer to help out a MSE member 1st if you see what I mean.
