HMV duplicate order help

I tried to order a boxset on HMV earlier but it came up with 'unsuccessful please refresh page' which I did but nothing happened. I waited a while to see if I got a comfirmation email and as I didn't I redid the order. I then immediately got 2 order comfirmation emails with different order numbers so previous order had also gone through!!
Am I able to return the unwanted item to HMV store or will I have to pay to return it by post? TIA.

I did something similar a few years ago. I just didn't accept the parcel and the post office sent it back and my money was refunded.

maybe call them if you want to make sure they'll do this

Classic mistake....NEVER refresh the page! When page crashes happen to me I always close the browser, open a new one and check my order history just to make sure if it has gone through, if not then go back through the order process.

Surely you can just cancel though as it wont have been dispatched yet. Just go through the account bit and see if it lets you cancel.

As for returns, yes you would have to post back, at your cost, and recorded is recommended as they wont refund until it's returned. AFAIK you can't return instore.
